Our pieces require no maintenance! NO watering, NO sunlight, No trimming. Please keep your piece OUT of direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use indoors only.

NO! Your preserved pieces need no water. In fact, spraying water, scent sprays, or anything will disrupt the preservation process. This can cause oils and dyes to run and ruin your piece. Please do not spray anything onto your moss pieces.

Due to these mosses being real from nature or the natural dyes, there can be a slight smell present but usually this will dissipate very quickly (within a week) and most will not notice it at all.

If you do notice a smell, the time it will take to go away depends largely on environmental conditions in the space. Some pieces can take longer 2-4 weeks. After this time it will be undetectable and again, most people don't smell anything at all.

All of our Moss Art Pieces are made with Grade A Preserved Moss (Lichen). It is made from 100% real natural mosses (lichen) and/or flowers that require no watering, no natural direct sunlight and no trimming.

Cultivated or harvested according to ecological practices, the mosses, plants and flowers are no longer living and require no maintenance. They are preserved without the use of chemicals by using both a natural oil and natural food dyes.

As the oil mimics the water in the plant, they still appear live, vibrant and maintain a natural appearance years and years to come (8+ years unless otherwise specified).

All products are handmade, each piece is unique and there might be slight differences between each one. Natural variations can be expected pertaining to slight moss colour variation and design and wood variations with staining. We strive to recreate each piece to match the product listing closely.
